I am a sole practitioner with more than 30 years of experience practicing law in the courts on Long Island, primarily as a trial lawyer. My background includes seven years of service as a criminal prosecutor (Assistant District Attorney for Queens County and Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of New York), overall responsibility for the defense of thousands of civil lawsuits as attorney of record for a major insurance carrier, and more than a decade of experience as an arbitrator of insurance disputes by appointment of the NYS Superintendent of Insurance. I have personally conducted the trial of scores of significant cases including rape, robbery and murder prosecutions, white collar crimes, serious bodily injury claims, commercial disputes, as well as divorce, child custody and family law litigation of every kind. While continuing to serve as an arbitrator, I am presently engaged in private law practice as a general practitioner on a limited, part-time basis. The scale and structure of my practice is designed to faciltate the delivery of personalized and high-quality professional legal services on behalf of select clients.
